BIBI came to the Farm and there was one person in mind for her soon as she arrived. So, when that special Friend of the Farm met Bibi, it was instantly and obviously the right home. Bibi jumped in her arms, giving her plenty of kisses and then proceeded to herd Banner, recently adopted from the Farm. A perfect pairing. Her new FurMom, Pat, has fostered for GHF for 8 years and met many, many wonderful Border Collies who she's adored but little Bibi holds a special place in heart - a little pup with a big heart - exactly what she was looking for! Bibi, will be affectionately known as the Duchess of Morris where she can preside over the Farm at all her visits! She now lives in NJ and we'll see Bibi all the time!

BIBI: A 5 month old Border Collie or possibly mix, Bibi is a tiny, tiny girl, only 12 inches at the withers. She is surely going to stay small since she was the runt of the litter. Bibi is very very attentive, focused and jumps into your lap as fast as she can, happy to sit for hours. She races like the wind and could potentially be great in sports. She's all about toys and even dunks her head right in the water to play. Bibi is good with other dogs and as sweet as they come. Bibi was living with a guardian who had no time for her. She is from Ct. You can see her size when she is standing next to Zach, who is only 4 months old himself.

JACK found the perfect home and canine friend for him, another dog who could race and sprint and chase and run like the wind, covering ground in a gallop. His new Furmom previously adopted from the Farm and was ready to add a friend so soon as she saw Jack online, she knew she had to come meet him. Her intuition was right and off Jack went to a great life with lots of acres for play and as her constant companion, too. Jack now lives in NY.

JACK is a 2 year old Border Collie mix with an overwhelming amount of joy! Jack just adores everyone and is very, very friendly. His enthusiasm can knock you over when he's ready to play.   He is a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys giving plenty of hugs and kisses, too. Jack loves toys and will happily race to grab a toy and then turn it into a version of chase to get you to play with him.  He is super fast and  He is good with other dogs or he could be a solo dog. Someone docked his tail at some point so to make up for it his wags are twice as exuberant, moving his tail and rear end in a whole body wag. So fun to see, you canít help but smile!  He is 50 lbs and not yet tested with cats. Jack came from a shelter in PA.

REO found his forever home with former adopters who came back for another Border Collie. They wanted a young boy who could help in their geese chasing business and join their family life with 4H activities as well as other sports. Reo fit perfectly with all his focus and his sweetness, winning their hearts quickly. He now lives in MA where he'll be one happy busy boy!

REO: A 8 month old Border Collie, Reo is a lovebug, happy to cuddle in your lap for belly rubs or race full speed to catch any toy that is thrown. Reo is all action, like any young BC. He is focused and fast and very agile. He loves all toys including the frisbee which he's just learned. He is great with other Border Collies and loves to join in herding games, lining up for the toy toss or racing around the field. He is very very friendly and curious about everything so a very easy learner. Reo is fine with cats and about 30 pounds. He was surrendered to the Farm from a VT guardian who could not meet his needs.

RYDER found his forever home with two other Border Collies, one previously adopted from the Farm and a new guardian who understands exactly how to meet his needs. He'll get a chance to try flyball, agility, frisbee and whatever else brings out his brilliance! She adopted from the Farm before the Farm even existed, back in Ct and was ready to add a young Border Collie to her life and Ryder was perfect! He happily went to his new life in MA!

RYDER: A 10 month old Border Collie, Ryder is classic in his drive, his focus and his desire to go. He needs an outlet for his energy and he'll excel easily, clearly eager to learn anything and curious about everything. Ryder would be great at sports like agility or herding - Ryder is almost 19 inches at the withers. He is also super sweet and loves to cuddle and have belly rubs though once that's done, he's all set for more action. Ryder will only be adopted into a Border Collie savvy home. He is great with other dogs and is good with cats. He came from upstate NY where he was living with a German Shepherd who was not  getting along with him.

BANDI found the perfect canine friend and they instantly played and chased and wrestled, she would hide under the bed and he on top egging her on to play..it was perfect! His new guardians were so thrilled to see this pair and knew their life together would be superb. Bandi headed off to his new life in upstate NY, hopping into the car happily next to his new people.

BANDI, an 11 mo old border collie is all fun and puppy energy. He's all about playing and big kisses, a real cuddler.  He is super friendly and enjoys being part of the action, especially with other Border Collies.  He will be placed with another young BC since his energy needs are met so well this way.  Bandi is smart, eager to bond and learn and could excel at anything asked of him.  Bandi is 40 lbs and good with cats.  He came from a NJ shelter that works with us regularly. He actually has long hair which is growing out from his grooming clip before coming to rescue. He is currently being fostered in NJ.

RUMI found his new home with another Border Collie and a guardian who really understands what Border Collies love to do - run, play, do agility, play, run- she is happy to have active canine friends and makes sure their lives are full of enough to do. Rumi happily cuddled next to her and then headed right out to the car, hopping right in for a ride to his new life in PA. Rumi will be clearly loved and happily busy!

RUMI: An 8 month old Border Collie, Rumi is a lover, happy to say hello and come for cuddles. He also loves to meet other dogs and play so we'd like to see him have a canine friend. Rumi is easy to live with, not as intense as some but he is a young Border Collie so needs a home with activities. He is very outgoing and friendly with everyone, a really good natured guy. Rumi is loving life at the Farm, racing and running and playing with other Border Collies. He is close to 40 pounds and not yet tested on cats. He was surrendered by a NY guardian who bought him and two days later, decided he was too high energy for her life, not what the breeder had said.

MILO found a perfect home where he has canine friends to play and run and chase and guardians who are really active. He'll be hiking and running with his new FurDad, enjoying plenty of the great outdoors. We know Milo will love that since he sure loves to run and is a gorgeous site to see. His new family loved his sweet nature as well as his friendly ways. He now lives in PA.

MILO: A 1 year old Border Collie (possibly mix), Milo is all action: he loves to run, run, run and he is gorgeous to watch as he does that, a beautiful boy in action. He is also super sweet and settles nicely inside, really eager to be next to his person and part of their life. Milo loves to play with other dogs and would enjoy a tall, physical player like himself so he can wrestle and make up chase games. He loves squeaky toys of any kind and is eager to learn and interact in any activity. He is really good natured and happy go lucky. He is a bit taller than the typical Border Collie and about 55 pounds. He is not yet tested on cats. Milo came from a Rochester shelter who works with us regularly. He was returned for too much energy after being adopted at 5 months old.

HUNTER found the perfect place where he could be the constant companions to his new guardians and be loved and hugged and cuddle all day. This gorgeous boy wanted nothing more than to be next to his person, laid out for a belly rub then run outside for a good gallop around and back in. His new guardians fell in love on the site and knew they had the time to devote to him, giving him a loving life, a far cry from when he was chained outside 24/7. We know Hunter will love all the love he'll be given and able to give, too. He now lives in NJ.

HUNTER: A 2 year old Border Collie, Hunter is incredibly people oriented, loving to be next to you for belly rubs or running with you outside. He is a strong guy who can cover ground so quickly and will enjoy living somewhere with lots of space to run. He is gorgeous to watch move, a beautiful graceful guy. Hunter is super sweet, very eager to meet other dogs and good natured. He is not a heavy herder, instead preferring to be active and with his person. Hunter is 56 pounds and good with cats. He came to the Farm from a PA guardian who had to tie him outside 24/7 and knew he deserved better.

DERBY found his forever home with loving guardians who are devoted to their dogs and wanted to have another Border Collie in their lives. They were totally drawn to him, even with his camera shy pictures, but once they met him, they fell head over heels in love. Derby headed out to his new life in MA with canine friends and he'll be the constant companion to his new FurMom and FurDad. A special thanks to Lori Coon and family for helping get Derby ready for this important day.

DERBY: A 10 mo old Border Collie, Derby is a genuine sweetheart. His foster Mom says he is fantastic, just a delight to have around.  Derby is very very people oriented and a gentle dog, so loves attention and playing with his person.  He really loves to cuddle and loves a belly rub. He is also happy running with the dogs and having a great time making new friends. Derby has some shy qualities but quickly blossoms into a happy Border Collie with patient, caring people. Derby enjoys walks, too. He is good with cats, he's about 35 pounds.  He was a stray in a shelter in NY. Derby is being fostered in NY and can be seen at the Farm.

POET won the heart of her new FurDad and FurMom the minute she walked outside to say hello. They had seen numerous other dogs but soon as they saw her, that was it! She played a wild game of frisbee and in usual Poet style, didn't bring it back which they thought was just fine since their previous Border Collie didn't either. They chuckled and laughed and played with her til they came inside for cuddling. Poet happily found her forever home. She now lives in PA.

POET: A 1 yr old Border Collie, Poet is a very very petite girl with lots of energy to run, run, run. She has quite an eye and loves to herd other Border Collies. She is fast and focused and loves toys of any kind. Poet really enjoys herding other dogs so needs the right dog friend who doesn't mind that Poet is very smart and eager to learn. She is high energy but very responsive to what is asked of her so easily trainable. While she is the perfect size for sports, she does have a repaired back leg due to being hit by a car so would not be able to do highly competitive agility or flyball. However, for fun, she would excel at it all. Poet is great with cats and about 25 pounds. She came from Louisiana with our new caretaker, where she had been given up due to the injury.

CARTER found the perfect life with guardians who will let him enjoy agility, flyball and rally O plus he and his new Border Collie friend absolutely loved each other...instant best buddies! They wrestled and chased and rolled and ran as if they were long lost brothers. A fantastic match, Carter and Cody headed out to a fun filled life in PA.

CARTER: A 1 year old Border Collie, Carter is all fun, running, chasing, playing with toys. Like any young Border Collie, he is all about the action. A sweetheart in temperament, he also loves people and is happy to be with everyone. Carter is quick to make friends and also back in the action just as quickly. He is super agile and fearlessly climbs and jumps, a very trainable candidate for sports. Carter is a bit taller than the average Border Collie, 50 pounds and not yet tested on cats. Carter was a stray in upstate  NY.

ZELLI found her forever home with one of our the Farm's caretakers which was no surprise because while it made no sense that we would take in an aussie pup, it made all the sense in the world, knowing that one of our team was an aussie lover and had been thinking about a pup for awhile!  We're pretty sure that Zelli heard her calling!  Zelli now lives nearby and we'll see her as she grows into the beautiful, special girl she certainly will be!

ZELLI: A 14 week old Australian Shepherd pup, Zelli is a gentle, sweet girl who loves to cuddle. She is sweet natured. Zelli loves other dogs and happily trots after them all, whether it's one dog or 12 and she reads them very well, not making many puppy mistakes at all. She is very observant and aware but not impulsive about jumping into everything going on...  Zelli seems to be quite the little thinker. She was from a farmer in NY who had a sign outside - puppies for free- which means she could easily have fallen into the wrong hands. We are very appreciative that a fellow rescuer who knows us took her in and contacted us. The Farmer has the mother and father on the premises as well as a Border Collie and indicated Zelli is an Aussie.

MONTANA has been waiting for just the right person to come who wanted to play tons of ball, had a great Border Collie to wrestle and chase with her and would let her try agility and flyball plus just enjoy lots of hikes and tons of love..well, those guardians came! In fact, they had been watching the site waiting to organize their schedule to visit Montana so when they saw she was off to NJ for an adoption event, they quickly emailed to visit before then. They wanted to meet Montana and only Montana and within short order, it was clear why. Montana will be cherished and enjoy a great life with lots of land and lots to do! She now lives in upstate NY.

MONTANA: A petite 11 month old Border Collie, Montana is classic young high energy dog on the go all the time. She is smart, alert and all action. She loves the ball and is fast to retrieve and return. She is very agile and could easily be a sport candidate for agility. Montana is very loving, too, always eager to curl up in your lap and be by your side.  Montana has fabulous recall and would a great hiking partner and is just learning about the water, retrieving balls. Montana is such a ball nut that she'll play under starry skies late at night, endlessly running to catch whatever toss wherever it goes and she finds it, no matter what, for yet another throw! She will be placed with another young Border Collie and only in a home with Border Collie experience, preferably an adult home. Montana's hips have been xrayed for sports and she is good to compete. She's enjoying the games Border Collies play and is blossoming. Montana is not good with cats and about 30 pounds. She was relinquished to the Farm from the NY area.

LAUREL found her forever home with guardians who fell in love with her on the site and had been waiting and waiting for a time to visit. Soon as they saw she was heading to NJ for an adoption event, they knew they had to come meet her to see if she was their dog and she most certainly was! Laurel played ball endlessly and jumped into their laps for cuddles, then quickly heading out to the car to start her new life in NJ. She will have lots of land for running and hiking and be the constant companion to her FurMom.

LAUREL: A petite 1 yr old Border Collie, Laurel is delightful, a classic BC with instincts to chase and race and play. She loves toys of any kind and will happily switch from one to the other, waiting for the next toss. She is fast and focused and very smart, eager to learn anything. Laurel bonds quickly to whomever is with her and is willing to try anything new, a great candidate for sports. (Her hips and all joints were xrayed for sports and she is good to compete - she is 19 inches at the withers)  She is friendly with everyone and fits in quickly into new situations. Laurel is good with other dogs but would do best with submissive males or even a solo dog. She is a strong willed girl, like most female Border Collies. Laurel is about 30 pounds, smaller than the standard for the breed and good with cats. She  was a stray in NJ.

MONTE found the best home he could dream of - actually three homes - one great place in Maine near the coast, another 100 acre country paradise and even his own island to enjoy! Monte and his new canine friend, Teddy, will enjoy endless hours of exploration, truly living in a paradise. His new guardians thought he was the sweetest guy and quite the gentleman, happily enjoying an overnight stay at the Inn near the Farm. Monte jumped into the car and headed out to a great life of love and fun

MONTE: A 6 year old Border Collie, Monte is a handsome guy with lots of personality. He loves toys and is really eager to be with people, happy to go anywhere you go.  He is friendly and outgoing and smart as a whip. Monte is good with other dogs, having lived with one his whole life, but could also be the only dog since he's really interested in people and playing.  Monte is a bit overweight but will knock that off easily with all the activity at the Farm. He is good with cats.  He was relinquished to a NY shelter from his guardians who had personal problems.

POE no longer needs a foster home because he found his forever home!!  Former adopters saw his picture and decided they had to meet him so brought Betsy along and the two of them got along just fine. Poe will be the center of attention, along with Betsy, even joining his new FurDad at the firehouse where he works. We're so happy for Poe and his new family!

POE: A 12 year old Border Collie, Poe is a gentle soul who wants to be with his person. He's also pretty comical since like any senior dog (or person for that matter), he has opinions about what he likes and doesn't like. One thing he loves is trotting around the fields with his jolly ball in his mouth, shaking it back and forth...another is heading to the front gate to say hi to anyone arriving...and he loves riding in the car, a great little traveler. Poe is great with other dogs, fine with cats and an all around happy go lucky Border Collie who is full of joy. He is petite in height but 50 pounds in weight so about right for his age. He was given up by a PA guardian. The son's father died and while he took Poe in, he had to move and couldn't keep him. He lived on 9 acres in a rural area unfenced.

Shay found the perfect person to understand and love her, thanks to the wonderful work of her foster Mom, Judi Bunge. She now lives in Buffalo totally adored.

SHAY: A 9 month old Border Collie, Shay is a sweet girl who is learning that life is great. She is very active with plenty of energy like any young Border Collie. Shay's currently in a foster home, discovering all her energy can be put to good use and her foster Mom thinks she has lots of potential for agility since she's so high drive. Shay has some behavior issues that will be worked on before she is available for rescue. She is being fostered in Buffalo, NY.

BRODIE found the place he'll finally land forever! His new guardians adored him the minute they met him and he rolled over for belly rubs and cuddling. Such a charmer, Brodie's sweetness touched their hearts completely. He had originally come to us from someone who bought him from a person who didn't want him, then she didn't want him cause she said he was 'too active', then he returned to us from an adopter who felt he was 'too calm' so we're thrilled he found the people who loved him for who he really is: a special Border Collie with a heart of gold! He'll enjoy a great life with tons of room to run. He has three homes - his suburb life; his shore life and his 20 acre farm life! What a lucky guy and he so deserved it all! He now lives in NJ and PA.

BRODIE: An 9 month old Border Collie, Brodie is a lover, happy to say hello and come for cuddles. He also loves to meet other dogs and play so we'd like to see him have a canine friend. Brodie is loving life at the Farm, racing and running and playing with other Border Collies. He is close to 40 pounds and not yet tested on cats. He was surrendered by a NY guardian who bought him and two days later, decided he was too high energy for her life, not what the breeder had said.

RYE showed his loving, sweet side and his busy, mischievous nature as he bounded in the room to say hello, racing around looking for his toy, then checking in for attention. His new guardian knew Rye would be perfect for their family and he saw the two dogs were a great pair together. Rye, having had a sister with him all his life, instantly connected with his new canine friend, Mystic, checking in with her for a feeling of safety. It was an adorable pair to see in action. Rye headed off to his NJ life with lots of running, ball play and tons of love from his new family.

RYE: A 10 month old Border Collie, Rye is super fast and quick on his feet, up and down on anything around as if it was a cake walk, a classic young BC. He is super sweet and friendly with everyone, just looking for a connection for play or love. He is a happy, good natured boy who will need something to do with his mind and body. Rye is good with other dogs and fine with cats. He is a bit shorter than the average BC and he is about 35 pounds. Rye was given up to the Farm, along with his sister because both were chasing the horses. He came from PA

BRIT met her new guardian and quickly charmed her with her sweetness and classic Border Collie brilliance, catching anything thrown her way, even a try at the agility equipment. Brit now lives in NJ where she'll be doing tons of agility and leading a very active life, exactly what she needs. Plus, of course, she'll be adored by her new family who thought she was such a doll.

BRIT: A petite 1 year old Border Collie, Brit is all action. She is ready to go, chase and play like any young BC and loves playing with other dogs. She is smart and focused and very sweet, a real cuddler. Brit could easily enjoy sports since she's so agile and eager to learn. She is good with dog savvy cats and about 30 pounds. She was abandoned at a NJ shelter due to a divorce. Fortunately, the shelter works with the Farm.

She just loves, loves, loves toys of an kind.  Hannah is 35 lbs and good with cats.  Hannah was abandoned at a PA shelter and thankfully, we were able to bring her into rescue.

PEPPER found a wonderful home with guardians who adopted from the Farm 9 years ago and felt they wanted their dog to have a full time friend. Pepper and Casey were a nice pair, happily enjoying time together at the Farm. Of course, Pepper won their hearts with her charm and sweetness, sitting by their feet for lots of affection. Pepper will live in CT and be an adored member of her new family.

PEPPER: A 5 year old Border Collie, Pepper is a loving, gentle, come right up to your side kind of girl. She just wants to be right next to her person and is happiest with lots of affection - getting it and giving it. She is wonderful and will be a great companion wherever she goes. She is very loving and more relaxed than a driven Border Collie so very easy to live with, not demanding anything more than love. She loves to roam around the Farm, checking out everything but never strays far from her person. She would be thrilled to live as the solo dog but can get along with other dogs, too. Pepper is the Mom of Shep, both surrendered from an Amish breeder in NY. Pepper is good with cats.

ELLA found her forever home with three other Border Collies and life on a lake with tons to do, Border Collie style. Her new guardian understands the breed and immediately knew that Ella would fit her life and her canine pack perfectly. Ella curled up in the front seat of her car and headed out to her new life in MA.

ELLA: A 4 month old Border Collie, Ella is a sweet, smart girl who loves to follow her person everywhere and even grab a pant leg or ankle, classic Border Collie style, herding you where you go.  Ella loves playing with other Border Collies and enjoys being in the middle of action, non-stop.  She is easy-going in nature and adapts well and quickly.  Ella has been with five other BC's, a lab and a doberman pup so fits in well with dogs.  We'd like Ella to have a great life with a BC savvy person who can further develop her personality. Ella was part of a student run puppy selling scheme at Boston University where various breed puppies were sold to pet stores or people so the students made fast money. The puppies were crammed into dorm rooms without reasonable care.  With the economy and the puppies were not being adopted quickly, the students operation ran amuck.  We found Ella on craigslist and uncovered this horrible situation.  Ella is in foster care in Vermont, about to come to the Farm.

SHEP found his forever home with marvelous guardians who not only love the breed, they can offer an interesting life as their working companion at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center in CT. Shep's job will be keeping the geese away from the 30 acres where the public visitors come to see farm life as it used to be many many years ago. He'll be patrolling near llamas, highland cattle, pigs, goats, sheep and other livestock, helping to keep the farm geese-free. While Shep has a working eye to do the job, even more importantly he has a heart for people - he absolutely loves everyone. His two weeks out at Cornell in rehab showed he made friends everywhere he went. So, we know this life amidst hundreds of visitors will surely make him the Nature Center mascot. We look forward to hearing about Shep's adventures where he can share his heart, his intensity and be loved day in and day out. Shep even hangs with his FurMom in her office, surrounded by children in the on-site preschool! He's bound to make lots of friends.

SHEP: A 2 year old Border Collie, Shep is a lover, always wanting to be right next to you, nudging you for attention. He is a gentle Border Collie, not high drive but does love to check out the Farm when he's outside, keeping track of everything going on.  Shep would be happiest as a solo dog, the center of attention. Shep is the son of Pepper, both surrendered from an Amish breeder in NY. He lived with the cattle and was given up because he wasn't working.  He is about 50 pounds and is OK with cats.   Update: Shep suffered for 6 mos with a dislocated hip prior to coming to the Farm.  The dislocation has been repaired and SHEP has been at the Cornell pain management group for rehab on his leg and he is doing beautifully. He's using the water treadmill and walking everywhere to strengthen his reliance on the leg. Dr. Andi Looney's team has fallen in love and watched him win over everyone he meets everywhere he goes, quite the social ambassador for the Farm.

BO learned all about sheep for the past 7 months and now has a new life ahead where he'll be herding his own flock! Bo calmly hopped into their car and headed out to his new life, doing what he's bred to do!!!

CABO: A 5 1/2 year old Border Collie, BO is a working dog, with lots of experience herding geese.  Bo is brilliant, responsive and an enthusiastic herder. If he doesn't have geese, he'll choose a cat or dog or ball and like any talented Border Collie, he has the 'eye' to be ready and move in an instant. He doesn't swim but will herd geese into water.  Bo gets along with other dogs, but is only good with dog savvy cats since he herds them. Bo will be placed in an adult only working home situation since he is very focused and is used to working with a person to accomplish his job. Bo is also a great frisbee dog.  He is about 40 pounds. Cabo was given up from a NJ homeBo is being fostered in NY getting a change to learn sheepherding!

To see the latest of Bo in action at his foster home...  take a look!

His new guardians understand the breed and love their brilliance. He now lives in upstate NY.

KYP won the hearts of his new guardians soon as they met him. His friendly nature, sitting right at their feet, affectionate and happy meant he had to be the one to go home with them. They had set their focus on another Farm rescue but soon as they met Kyp, they knew he had chosen them and they felt exactly the same way about him. Kyp happily headed out to his new life in NJ where he will certainly be adored.

KYP: A petite 4 year old Border Collie, Kyp is a beautiful boy who calmly and gently comes over for attention and is happy to be by your side. He'll nudge your hand for a pet and will quietly wait til you can connect with him. Kyp is very gentle and very sweet. He is very curious about everything around him and eager to meet all the dogs. Kyp is 30 pounds and is not good with cats. KYP has some hearing loss but can hear some sounds well. He came to the Farm from someone who found him abandoned in their front yard and contacted us. She and Winston happily played with toys and learned that two Border Collies are definitely better than one! Winston will have a marvelous life on 40 acres as the constant companion to his new people. We are so happy for Winston who deserved to be loved and understood. He is also incredibly affectionate and loves to be with his person. He is about 35 pounds and good with cats. Winston was hit by a car and relinquished to the guardian's vet in NY who then contacted us for help. We're thrilled to have Winston at the Farm.

Beautiful LACIE found her forever home in Maine with an adopter who wanted another beloved friend so Lacie headed out to her new life. She'll be the constant companion to her new FurMom, playing lots of ball, hiking and exploring each day and enjoying a life of total love. We're so happy for her new FurMom and know that Lacie's loving, fun nature will bring her great joy.

LACIE: A 7 year petite, brindle Border Collie, Lacie is a pistol. She is fun, fun, fun and absolutely charges quickly after a ball and is a great catch. She also loves to be with people, anyone and everyone. Lacie has a big personality in a little body, full of spunk and comical at times in her sweet, curious nature. She is classic BC, checking out everything around her and in the middle of everything. She is fine with other dogs but like most female BC's we see, she likes being in charge but she's not overly dominant, just a little bossy. Lacie is a delightful girl and loves kids, too, but is not good with cats. She was brought to a local shelter in PA by neighbors who knew the guardians didn't want her anymore and were planning to shoot her.

MALCOLM found a unique home where his sweet nature is totally appreciated and where he can also learn how to live in a home.  Malcolm needed some special patience to help redirect his chewing tendencies from all the long days previously left alone.  He is learning all kinds of tricks and enjoying continual play time with his Border Collie friend, Sky.  Plus, Malcolm is helping in a new capacity - a therapy dog - spreading his joy to his new FurDad and Mom.  Malcolm is a special adoption, now living in New York City, with a noted dog trainer who knows exactly how to help him adjust and blossom, step by step.   They adore him.

MALCOLM : A 1 year old Border Collie/Retriever mix, Malcolm needs a place to run and play and really needs a friend. He is full of playful energy, smart as a whip and eager to put his mind to use.  Malcolm is obedient and loving but will need some time with someone who can redirect his behaviors to training. He is so eager to learn but no one has had time to teach him anything. He passed his temperament test with flying colors. He actually smiles when he sees you, a really delightful boy. Malcolm is happy with another canine friend where he can wrestle, chase and race, a great outlet for his energy and mind. He is about 40 pounds and good with cats. Malcolm came from a NY guardian who could not meet his needs.
