A HOME TO HOME ADOPTION

At age 7, Dylan found himself without a home due to his elderly guardian’s stroke. A family member stepped in to keep him safe, but couldn’t meet his activity level. A super smart and super sensitive guy, Dylan really needed a savvy Border Collie person again, like his previous FurMom.

A Glen Highland adopter had just lost her beloved GH dog at age 17 and felt so alone without him, she reached out to share her grief. Hoping the timing just might work, we suggested Dylan who we knew needed a new home NOW!

Off she went traveling to Chapel Hill NC to see how everything felt and it was ‘kismet’. So back he went with her to Virginia!

From Dylan’s new FurMom:
"HE LOVES IT HERE!! Seems to adore me! Loves the golf course... goes at the geese with a wide plan of attack. Very little creeping and evil-eye. When the gaggle is airborne and honking, he leans back and grins as if to say "I did that, Mom! ME!"

If a dog could be described as an optimist, here we are. And I've had him for only 5 days. Having fun with him. Day by day, he tells me who he is."
