We are so happy to be the link to JUNO finding her new life!!!! JUNO found her new home quickly with someone in NJ who saw her posted on the GH site and he was thrilled she was nearby! He had been searching for a new beloved herding friend and had exactly the right situation for her - being together 24/7, going everywhere he goes. Juno will be by his side as he crafts hand-made wooden furniture in his shop, which is also his home, and then head out for deliveries, the ‘mascot’ meeting everyone! "Juno is doing incredibly well. The working dog with no bed and no toys now has a lazy boy plaid bolstered bed and she loves her new toys. She is fitting into my life so easily , the whole family including my niece and nephew love her already, my parents love her, and the mom and pop pet store adore her! We really needed her in our lives. Thank you very much!" - Phil |
JUNO'S HISTORY An 11 year old Border Collie, JUNO is a wonderful, super friendly and focused girl with an athletic nature! She is no sedate senior! Juno used to chase geese so she’s fast and fit but finally retired so can enjoy being someone’s special friend. She is an affectionate cuddler who loves couch time with her person as well as car rides anywhere you go. She loves everyone she meets, is eager to please, has lots of commands and truly enjoys her ball games! Juno is very, very smart, everything that makes Border Collies so wonderful. Golf course Border Collies are normally unflappable around chaos since so many novel things happen on a course each day, including plenty of people! Juno is best as a solo dog since she has strong female tendencies to control other dogs. While she can hike off-leash, she would be best with a fenced yard if in a dog-filled setting. She is about 50 pounds and not tested on cats. Juno is in NJ looking for a new home since her guardian passed - Glen Highland will handle any inquiries to help find her a home from her home.
