Leo found his home this first weekend in August, heading out to be the center of attention with a great yard and a loving Border Collie couple!

LEO'S HISTORY

Handsome 9 year old Glen Highland alum, LEO, needs a new home. Sadly his guardian has health challenges leading to a move so we want this wonderful guy to land in another GREAT spot. He is super friendly, loves to run and explore and happy to be the companion to his person on errands or whatever comes each day. Leo loves life!!

LEO was two years when he landed in rescue, given up for too much energy. Thankfully he has had eight stable years as a beloved family member. This change will be a big adjustment but happy, balanced Border Collies respond well when people understand them.

So, what does Leo need now? Ideally, he would love to be someone’s buddy. He now goes everywhere with his FurDad and that includes handling their 10 acre farm. He sticks right by his side doing his ‘job’. Leo is never left outside alone since it’s unfenced but will be best in a fenced yard with this new change.

Leo loves affection... giving and receiving... just a love-bug. He cuddles on the couch and jumps into bed for a good-night moment and then off to the floor. He lives with a Cocker Spaniel now and while they are just fine, Leo wants to be in the center of the action and cuddling too so this time best to be a solo guy.

He is very, very smart and attentive, watching closely to see what’s next on the list for the day. He is a big fetch guy, happy for a good run to snag a stick or ball tossed his way. Leo is good-natured about sheep, goats, chickens and pigs and will even avoid stressing the barn cat… a gentle Border Collie!

He is about 60 pounds. LEO is now lives near Scranton PA and can be placed from his home.
