We are so happy to share that OLIVIA has found a new life! She is joining guardians who will focus on her 24/7 and treat her like the little princess she is! Olivia will have lots of belly rubs and cuddling time as well toy play and walks on the beautiful rural property high on a mountain. For Olivia, being with her FurMom and Fur Dad means everything to her so we know she will truly flourish. She has her quirks for sure but her new guardians feel that is just fine…they think she is quite the comical character always talking to them and making them chuckle. |

OLIVIA'S HISTORY At 8 years old, Olivia found herself needing a new home and we stepped in to help since she was a pup adopted from Glen Highland in 2017. Her pregnant Mom landed in rescue and four adorable little ‘O’ pups were born! All petite just like Mom. Olivia is still the charmer with a big personality in a small body. Her mannerisms from ‘talking’ to her person to tossing toys to catch herself to cute antics turning and bowing…she just loves to engage with people! While Olivia loves attention and is very affectionate, she is reserved and timid at first. She is a thinker and needs to not be rushed to feel at ease. Once herself, she changes from a shy girl to a velcro girl! As a pup, Olivia was adopted into a home with another GH alum, Lulu, and then later the pack expanded to include two others - Steele & Tinker. She adjusted to the bigger pack life but would truly benefit from more focused attention on her. Olivia wants a lot of interaction. Though her busy Border Collie life was very active living on 40 acres, running and hiking, she is a home gal who likes to cuddle on the couch, too. She also loves car rides. Olivia was returned to Glen Highland due to job loss and a move. She was well cared for until recent years when focus and funds languished. We have treated her for a bad skin infection from a flea issue. And, she is now being treated for two tick-borne diseases that were not properly managed.
