TINKER found a Border Collie paradise living on 40 acres! He joins GH alum, Shelby for tons of ball games and fun. Tinker fits there as if he’s always lived there, watching tv at night cuddled up side by side and outside exploring non-stop with his new guardians! We’re thrilled this sweet guy has a wonderful new life!

TINKER'S HISTORY

Tinker, age 4, is the youngest in a pack of four Border Collies was relinquished to Glen Highland in December 2025. Being a BC mix (DNA test results: Border Collie/Poodle), he is the most easy going except when it’s time for ball play - he is all BC with his focus and 99% of the time gets the toss! He is a fun-loving, good-natured guy who listens well and aims to please. He is a doll.

Tinker is very smart, wanting more direction and involvement with a person. As the last into the pack, it’s clear he went with the flow but really wants more individual time. Our goal is to find a home with another active but not competitive canine friend. He deserves to flourish as the center of attention.

Sadly, he came to rescue in the worst shape. His skin infection is significant so needs more time for treatment, as well as a severely painful ear infection that needs multiple medications. A fractured tooth leaves him with bloody pulpy root exposure and severe pain. Tinker is extremely underweight and needs to be neutered. All in all, Tinker is amazingly good-natured for having to endure this kind of suffering.

While Tinker unfortunately lost his home due to a job loss and move, it’s in his best interest that he came to Glen Highland. We are pleased to help bring him into good health and know, once he is pain-free and recovered, this wonderful boy will give his heart to someone as special as he is…he surely deserves the very best life. Tinker is great with everyone he meets, other dogs and cats, an all-around great guy! He lived on 40 acres with Lulu, Olivia & Steele.
