TIO found a great new life right in Vermont where he’ll visit his foster canine friends, many who are alums but even better, he has a new FurMom! She will be with him 24/7 for tons of games, hikes and car rides… her dear companion day in and day out! We know this is perfect for Tio - now right where he can be forever sharing his big heart! We are thrilled for this gentle guy who is one big sweetheart!

TIO'S HISTORY At 1 1/2 years old, TIO is a love-bug, totally and completely the friendliest most good-natured Border Collie around. He as a sweet personality much like a golden retriever and even the size…Tio is 70 pounds…yes a 70 pound purebred Border Collie! He loves his toys, his people and lots of fun outside exploring and swimming, too. He is great off leash and wonderful with other dogs. Tio was adopted as a pup from Glen Highland but a life change forced his return to rescue in November 2023. We are looking for a larger property so he can run and ideally, with other dogs since he loves to play. We had Tio's father, mother and relatives, in a pack of five adults, who came to Glen Highland June 2022 (shown in the picture below). They were all larger size BCs, though it seems Tio outdid them all! |
