Sweet ZOEY is all set for the rest of her life, staying in her foster home! This was the hope though it needed to be right for her as well as the pack she had joined and it is!

Zoey is safe and loved - never left without a meal; never deserted in a dark basement; neglected 24/7 in a crate, untouched by anyone.

Step by step, Zoey will find her way to the happy girl she deserves to be!

We are so grateful one of Glen Highland's adopters opened her home to give Zoey a chance to grow into happiness. It’s a slow process that will yield results because one human heart links to one canine heart, in kindness with patience.

ZOEY'S HISTORY

The very sweet but VERY under-socialized ZOEY is now in her foster home and step by step, she will literally learn how to be a brave and happy dog but it will take years. This young 3 - 5 year old Border Collie mix spent her life in a basement without light or fresh air and living in crate often without food.

THANKFULLY NOW…she is starting over.

We are so so thrilled to be able to help this lovely girl thanks to a former GH adopter who has adopted 6 dogs from Glen Highland and understands the challenges ahead. She stepped up to foster Zoey and if things evolve as she expects, Zoey will stay with her permanently. Some of her current pack have come from horrible situations, too so her ability to carefully guide Zoey with the help of the other dogs will make such a difference. The pictures from the first two days are a great start!!

Zoey’s vet needs were handled by LUKE’S FUND, the special program created to help younger Border Collies.

Special thanks to Tim Mills & Aiyana Persigner for making sure Zoey made it to NY.
