CHARLEY (Chewy), age 9 arrived at Glen Highland to start a new journey where he can again be the center of attention.This good-natured fella lived in one home since a pup with the grandmother of a big famil,y but when she passed, his life became more complicated in an ever-changing household of five children. In fairness to Charley, he is now in rescue to take a new step just for him! Glen Highland is happy to help.
First week update in foster home: "He is a love! He is a really great dog! Fun! Sweet! Wants to be with his person doing things. I had just him out with me and was reading by the fire (so cold today and snowing!) and he was laying at my feet! Too cute! He is great on walks too! He is definitely going to make someone very happy! He doesn’t mind having the dogs around and he is really loving the race and chase games in the yard but a person is most important to him! He doesn’t need another dog but also wouldn’t mind living with another.

Charley is great with kids and loves meeting everyone, a pretty confident guy. Now, he’ll get to enjoy lots of hiking, Border Collie pals and tons of attention in our favorite family foster home in Vermont. Plenty of love will still come his way but a bit more dog-centric focus.
