• Good with other dogs At age 12, GILLEY found herself abandoned in a Texas shelter. While that seems sad, it’s the best thing that could have happened based on the neglect she was suffering. Gilley is now having a great life and loves it…cozy beds, canine buddies for lots of fun and walks…Gilley LOVES walks. She is adorable and bright as can be! Gilley is friendly to everyone she meets, just happy to say hello on any walk anywhere. Thankfully in good shape, she only needs pain meds at night. Like most BC’s this age, she has cataracts so negotiates dark lighting inside carefully but otherwise, she is all about exploring! She is not a toy dog but certainly loves affection and cuddling. We have no idea her whole story except the death of her guardian led family members to this action. About 35 pounds, this petite sweetheart is bringing joy to former GH adopters fostering her in Texas.
A very special thanks to Sandy & Carlos Iglesias who have kindly opened their home AGAIN to help another Senior quite a long distance from Virginia. The 24 hour trip is hard on dogs in Gilley’s condition so we really appreciate giving her time to be healthier.
