• JUST ARRIVED INTO RESCUE At 10 years old, HARLEY is coming to rescue to insure he will continue in a loving home with proper care. He has been a beloved family member in one home since a pup but his guardian’s deployment to Alaska led to the decision that he deserved more time and attention than would be possible. Harley just arrived from Florida over Thanksgiving weekend. We are very pleased to help his guardian feel secure that Harley will be just fine. He lived with an Aussie and likes other dogs, so we know the GH rescue gang will provide stimulation and fun for him. Harley is a good-natured, well-behaved fella and needs a soft landing. He is about 40 pounds. He needs a home without cats but another herding friend would be ideal. A big thanks to volunteers Ken Lee, Julie Dean-Adams & Jim Adams & Aiyana Persinger & Tim Mills for transporting Harley this very long 11 hour distance to Virginia. Also, many thanks to Leisl Bryant who evaluated Harley confirming what a gentle, wonderful guy he is! It always takes a village to make rescue possible!! |
