• Solo dog
At age 9, Lucie found her way back to us after the adopter's health took a downturn, leaving her unable to care for neither Lucie nor GH alum, Wren. Lucie is able to find a new home whereas Wren at age 12, is best as a Resident. Both were beloved family members and sweet, loving Border Collies through all these years. Lucie is a classic Border Collie who looks to her person for direction, eager to bond and relate. She is very affectionate and loves being close for cuddling and going wherever her person goes. She is also loves to be outdoors exploring and could be a great walking companion.
Lucie would be happiest in mostly female home since that is what she had previously for so many years. While Lucie is a petite gal, she is the boss when it comes to dogs and has been that way since she was young. We’ll only place her as a solo dog and she does need a fenced yard. We will cat test her shortly and update her bio. She is 46 pounds and will trim up with more activity now. Special thanks to Vicki Buono, Aiyana Persinger & Tim Mills who made the transport to Virginia possible. Adoption inquiries, please write rescue@glenhighland.com For former Glen Highland adopters, we can arrange transport to the Northeast region. For new adopters, we require that you visit the dog in Virginia.
