Meet the Rescues The Mission About GHF Honoring Spirits Donate

Hampton loves being with a person he can trust, and he seems more like a senior than his actual age. Right now, he has anxiety being left alone outside without a person around. We will discover more of Hampton’s personality as he gains confidence with the GH rescues as his new friends and as his health improves.

His heartworm disease treatment will start with the slow-kill protocol, waiting until he is stronger to consider the injection protocol.

Hampton is at Glen Highland in Virginia.

All the North Carolina dogs were helped by LUKE'S FUND. These funds paid for initial vetting & boarding until the dogs could be moved into foster homes. Blue Ridge BC Rescue, Atlantic Region Central BC Rescue and Carolina BC Rescue each took in one dog from this group. Glen Highland was the only option for the remaining five dogs, though not senior age, we wanted to help.

In memory of my first Border Collie. Miss Lacy Lou, who at 8 weeks old I chose at a local humane society in 1995.
