A heartfelt match was made on 8/24/22…two souls are now starting their journey together! SHEEBA will be his constant companion 24/7 and he will be hers, exactly what she wanted and needed… her purpose is to love her person and now she surely will! We wish our former GH adopter the very best, enjoying another great friend, and we thank him for being open to Seniors! |

An 11 year old Border Collie mix, this lovely girl caught our eye from a vet facility Facebook post stating that she needed a new home due to a family illness. She and her GSD pal landed at their normal vet for boarding which started in early June and suddenly had to go longer. The guardians were unable to return and gave permission to find them new homes or euthanize them. A stunning message which thankfully led to Sheeba landing at Glen Highland. Soon as we met Sheeba, it was so loud and so clear that she was someone’s dog so it was now just a matter of thinking…who is looking right now? One of our favorite GH adopters who has had 4 dogs from us had JUST been thinking it was time to add again and was THRILLED to hear from us! So Sheeba will travel to Pennsylvania days after coming to Virginia from South Carolina…she had an angel on her shoulder, as we like to say!
We are so thrilled to help her find her way. Special thanks to Alexis Ressler who drove 7 hours roundtrip from SC to NC to meet Nancy Solum who drove 5 hours RT to meet Lillie in NC. And now Lillie will drive 9 hours RT to move her to her adopter who is driving 4 hours himself! Worth every moment for this nice, well deserving Sheeba!

SHEEBA'S HISTORY
She is sweet as can be, loves her belly rubs and truly just wants to be with her person again. She will not let us out of her sight she is so clearly worried about being abandoned. And while she enjoys the great outdoors, she wants to be by your side wherever you go, happy to calmly hang out. She’s been relaxing with the Senior gang, too.   |
