Resident Helper KYA, now10, joined the Founder’s pack as a pup who needed more healing time.

Within short order, it was clear she had strong leader qualities and understood multiple dog pack living. She blossomed. Kya made friends with easy-going dogs who accepted her direction and taught others how to clearly read her messages.

Living with dozens of Border Collies, she gained a strong skill set at teaching even the stronger dogs to fit in. Kya also helps us identify Border Collies who need to be solo dogs vs dogs that can live with other dogs. If a dog is not listening to Kya, then we know they will not listen to any dog.
